"The person who knows only one side of an argument knows neither side to an argument." - Source unknown
The Daily Ahem is a mix of some thoughts about religion as well as a little homespun philosophy, hopefully for your daily edification. I would love to hear your comments on the principles that I present here daily. If you wish to see other quotes that appear on alternate days go to my website at: milesofsmilespublishing.com/blog
My blog is more concerned about philosophical and religious matters than political ones. Because we may be addressing sensitive subjects here, there are certain rules of decorum that we expect people to follow. The statements are not meant to be fodder for arguments so remember that profanity or name-calling is not allowed.
Most religious references will be Christian, for that is the main path we follow in the C.C.C.M.S. organization, but comments from any quarter, religious or non-religious, are welcome as long as they are well thought out, polite and well-presented.
Questions about another religion are permissible, but there are many different beliefs in this world and being offensive to someone or misrepresenting their views, or even being easily offended, does not contribute to our mutual quest to find the truth.
A 'desire to learn' is the only thing that will be required of the contributors to this site. A person does not need to have a strong opinion on something to contribute to the conversation. In fact, having questions can often be more appropriate.
